First. The Chicken.
So. Now we’re ready to get on with the beef of today’s post. Of course, I promised some roast beef links, however, I have found some good steak links along today’s ventures and so I want to include them first.
Well, I couldn’t leave burgers out of the post. Besides, I see here to remind myself to do a post pretty soon after the Superbowl on Sous Vide cooking. (There may be more than one post on Sous Vide cooking actually. Actually, I have to get to work on my Appliances page and include a Sous Vide set of appliances pretty soon, so Sous Vide recipes have some connection to the mind-set of my blog, since that’s all I have in it that’s mine.)
And well, the second burger recipe from YouTube isn’t Sous Vide but it is an authentic copycat, so it deserves a mention; I also have to get a top burgers post together as a YouTube list and no pictures. (So many things to keep me busy.)
Well, since I’ve taken so long to put this post together with an introduction, I’d say it’s pretty well finished. I am going to post another ribeye steak from YouTube | Mother’s BBQ because it looked like a good way to finish and just in case, I am adding a home-made pastrami video from YouTube | All Things BBQ, because pastrami is similar to roast beef. Another post should follow for the actual roast beef separately.
(I just snuck in a 2nd Juicy Lucy copycat for the heck of it and to keep the rivalry between the two even steven. I also added a few more steaks after pastrami; last minute plans sometimes take you creatively by surprise.)
I added a brisket right here at the end, also for finding it all of a sudden and also suddenly found a Sous Vide TV Channel with a Sous Vide Tomahawk Steak. So, that’s all, except for — just a couple more.
Well, I ended with Gordon Ramsay on the Chicken Appetizers for what was going to be today’s Roast Beef Main (you have to think of your own sides for today), so I will end also with Gordon Ramsay on the Beef & Brisket Main again (still, the sides are up to you). I could recommend some things, but then you’d never get the Chicken or Beef because this post would never happen to finish. … I like to promote starchy foods anywhere I can because in this health-conscious era no one ever does and therefore, I like to remind everyone, any chance I get, that starches are a diet staple that are reliable to most of any circumstance you have, you just have to work it out for yourself. On that note, rice, bread, potatoes and pasta or noodles are always welcome to any presentation table in my book of dinner and buffet tables. (But so are appetizers generally, so….)
