This is an old post that I lost and didn’t know to find in my WordPress Trash Bin. I was so sorry to have lost it because I understand I had a few viewers on it. And by now, they have gone over to Big Oven, which is probably a great thing to have done anyway; so for the sake of the argument: Here it is.
It was originally going to be much longer. So the gist of it is vegetables, fish, noodles, salad and sushi on the same table all at one time, for a large buffet dinner or afternoon or feast. (Except that this one is kind of small.) From BIG OVEN

This and a few others listed in my email following post from Ramyarecipes today looked so good I wanted to repost them onto BIA, my foodie WordPress. I am hoping to link in those others from that list onto this one; if not, you will be seeing them separately.
The addition of garlic and onion (powders or fresh or minced) into savory vegetable sautee, which this essentially is), is sometimes overpowering as a main side dish and it is always useful to know how to add seasonings without these key ingredients. The use of the cumin and tumeric with masala is great with the other herbs and seasons in this. For anyone who knows how difficult it is to get your vegetables to sautee to savory with just the right mix of those key ingredients, this is an excellent solution. I also suppose if you seriously wanted to put this as a key side to a pasta or meat dish, rather than a vegetable buffet with breads, then you could add in those two, garlic and onions to bring out the full flavor to the rest of the table.
